Adventure in the national park Mountain Halimun Salak

To be honest, many Jakarta residents who do not know a vacation spot that can provide training to their children to be more intimate with nature.

I recommend an ecotourism experience Halimun Mountain National Park. Why? Although this place is located not so far from Jakarta, there are many Jakarta residents who are not familiar with these place.

Halimun Mountain National Park is the largest tropical rainforest on the island of Java. This area is a habitat for several types of creatures, plants, and microorganisms.

Java Island is a small island with a dense population. No wonder if in the area along these lines have been established many residential buildings since a few years earlier. Illustrations are Citalahab city.

Mountain Halimun Salak

Citalahab city located in the southern part of the Valley of the Salak Mountain, with an altitude of 1000-1100 meters above sea level.

The cool mountain air can still be felt in this location. There are five houses for visitors who want to stay (homestay), of course, with low cost and facilities provided quite complete.

To be sure, ecotourism is not an ordinary vacation, especially for those individuals who truly worship nature with the natural freshness of the air.

Ecotourism requires you to be prepared to live in the countryside with a very simple way, for example roughing it in nature, or live with the villagers in their homes.

As part of a package of ecotourism, our experience begins with entering Hazy mountain forest with a journey time of about 3 hours. During the journey to the protected forest, we stopped at a research station Cikaniki, then into the waterfall Cimacan, 300 meters from the station Cikaniki research.

Access

We passed a fairly quiet street about 2 hours. Very interesting, with a private car we swirling through the streets were narrow and dangerous.

We reached the town Citalahab at night. The villagers welcomed us with a sense of kinship.

The night air in Citalahab, the flow of river water that flows, making the children can not wait to swim. They immediately plunged into the clear water and cool air in Citalahap.
